For the history buff This is a self guided tour with a map and takes less than an hour. It was very interesting and gives the visitor great insight into the early days of Fredericksburg. It only costs $5.00 and is well worth it.
Worth the time On a rainy Friday in Dec we spent $5.00 and enjoyed the 45-60 minutes learning about the history of Fredericksburg. Go at you own pace through the self guided tour of old buildings, stores, barns, and original homes of Fredericksburg. The barn for me was the most interesting. It had the finest collection of old tools I had ever seen,...

She told me that when she started first grade she began learning English - prior to that only German was spoken at...
Trip to Museum Wonderful museum and displays. Well informed staff in the gift shop, we bought more books to learn more of the history. Was able to take several farmers market on the grouds. A true gem. The buildings on the complex, all very interesting.
A good overview of 200 years history A nice and very informative collection of buildings from the mid 1800's fully furnished. Our mistake that we arrived too late and had to hurry to finish by closing time.
History of Fredericksburg The first place to go to learn the history of Fredericksburg. The staff are very nice and love to see new people.
Historic Pioneer Complex Number of historic buildings and furnishings. True feel of the 1800's, well worth the admission fee.

This village is complete with Sunday house, bath house, school and more. Most of the buildings are in their original setting. Others were taken from the surrounding area and rebuilt. What I found most impressive was: - the...
