The Skinny has been apart of the community for 16 years and in that time we have changed our look several times! We love to embrace the artsy, funky, crazy and boldest aspects of this amazing city. The Skinny offers a number of custom cocktails, created and perfected by our staff of amazing bartenders. Our seasonal food menu will have your mouth watering and leave you feeling full and satisfied.

Typical bully door guy on Saturday This past Sat (3/6), I tried to get in around 3:30 AM to pick up my (very) tipsy friend who was from out of town and was to stay with me. Door guy said they were closing and weren't letting any people in. I tried to explain I just wanted to get my friend and he physically pushed me out the door. Fun bar for a birthday or party. Though somewhat small, the management is willing to accommodate parties. Drink prices are reasonable.
RUDE BARTENDER I was had been sitting at the bar with 3 of my friends watching the opener of Monday Night Football. The bartender if you can call him that was the most immature person I have ever seen. To start off we asked for the PBR special and he tells us ""really, thats so cheap"" like he is an old friend. HORRID PARTY SPACE I went there to have my birthday. I spoke to a party rep repeatedly and let her know how many people would be there, and there really wasn't enough space, thankfully people came late and some couldn't stay all night. Then we ordered Tequila shots for $5 each which was cool. A new bartender came on, we went out and came back and the shots jumped tp $6 each with no explanation. The bar seemed nice enough, clean, decent amount of seating, nice ambiance, but the bartender was absolutely horrible. I ordered my drink and then a drink for my girlfriend and after she heard what the second drink was she just said "what? no". She also neglected to remove the dollar from all drinks purchased between 5:00 PM and 9:00 PM, as promised on the clubs website. The pretension suggests...
Not what was promised I booked to have the birthday party of me and a friend because of all of the stellar reviews on this site. It's a very crowded bar, which is what I expected, but they did not deliver what was promised to us. We were told we had the mezzanine of the bar to ourselves, but little later (after I already brought up our guests) they said the upstairs was for a different birthday party and that we were downstairs.
